Green loans are increasingly becoming a part of BT's total real estate lending and will most likely be the "new standard" in view of the European directives on residential construction under the Green Deal, which aims to make the EU greenhouse gas neutral by 2050.

The terms and conditions of these loans are more advantageous than standard loans due to the low interest margin and zero analysis and evaluation fees.

BT was the first bank in Romania to grant such loans, starting in autumn 2017, under a partnership with the EBRD 💚
