Do I need to have NFC turned on to pay?

Yes. You will only be able to make payments if the NFC function in your phone's settings is turned on / active. 

Without NFC on, POS-the POS will not identify your phone and you will not be able to pay 😞

Tip: Activate it quickly (before making the payment) from your phone's notification bar or from Settings! 😉
