When my account is blocked for non-payment of debts, who should notify me of this?

If you get stuck your account for non-payment of a debt, then we're talking about a garnishment. 🙅

If we receive an attachment address from an institution, let's say from the "Public Finance Administration", we are obliged to act on it.

Therefore:

⠀money owed will be seized;

⠀and theobligation to notify you of the garnishment lies with the institution that ordered the garnishment (not us) 🙁 🙁

However, after the garnishment has been established, the bank will send you an SMS to the bank's phone number, so make sure the number is up-to-date.
