Since 7 August 2017, Banca Transilvania has eliminated the obligation to apply the official stamp (the round one) on the documents it generates for clients, authorities, partners, etc.

For example, the round BT stamp no longer appears on credit agreements or current account history. 

Arguments for eliminating the use of the BT round stamp are: 

➤⠀ the relationshipbetween BT and customers to be as simple and quick as possible;

➤⠀Asigned document now has the same validity as a signed and stamped one, as it did until 7 August 2017. A holographic (handwritten) signature is what gives a document validity.
