Why do some banks have 0 commission on withdrawals from any ATM in Romania?

Like any other business, you have some fees and commissions for the services you use.

These costs can come in many forms: for example BT has decided to develop one of the largest ATM networks in the country with over 1,700 ATMs. In other words, there's a good chance there's one within a few hundred metres of you right now. 😃

There are banks that want to offer other facilities such as zero cost on withdrawals - but this means they don't invest as much in machines, ATMs, maintenance and rent, but choose to bear the withdrawal fee from other banks.

It is very expensive for a bank to choose both options. We, for example, have chosen to be closer to our customers, wherever they are - in this case through an extensive ATM network that you can discover right here. here.
