Why make a personal budget?

Your personal budget is the ratio between what you earn and what you spend. It's a good idea to put on paper how much you earn and, from this income, to understand exactly how much goes on food, clothing, rent or installments, etc.

You may see that everything is fine. But you may also see that you're spending too much on food. Or you're spending too much on clothes, and that's why you're saving too much for trips. You may even see that all your spending is okay, but you simply wish you could spend more - for less good days, super good days or big ambitions for the future. Or because you simply want more out of life.
