If I have given someone my IBAN associated with my Direct Card, can they access the money in my account?

No, because the Direct Card only has a book-entry account and cannot be used as an IBAN. Whatever you do, don't give anyone your card details: number, validity or CVV, as online fraud methods are becoming increasingly sophisticated. 🔑
