By following the 3 steps below. 😉

Step 1:

Before claiming compensation, please ensure that:

- your request is made within 120 working days from the date of the insured event;

- the insurance contract (certificate) is or was in force at the time of the event;

- the event for which you claim is covered by the insurance contract;

- the event is not excluded from compensation. The exclusions for each benefit are set out in the Terms and Conditions of Insurance;

- the event is not a pre-existing condition (an illness or injury as a result of an accident, or a consequence of an illness or injury as a result of an accident, or another medical condition of the insured beneficiary, manifested and diagnosed as such by a doctor or for which medical care was provided, before the effective date of the insurance).

Step 2:

Complete the claim and send it to us together with the necessary documents (mentioned below).

- You can complete your claim online using the e-Claims application available at www.metropolitanlife.rosection and attaching the necessary documents online depending on the event or

- You can fill in the claim form attached in this Guide;

Step 3:

Send the claim and documents by:

- the e-Claims online application, if you have chosen this method for completing your claim or

- by e-mail to despagubiri@metropolitanlife.ro or

- postal address: Europe House, B-dul Lascăr Catargiu, nr. 47 - 53, et. 4, code 010665, sector 1, Bucharest, Romania, if you have opted to complete the Claim in writing.
