How do I block a card?

Blocking the card, in case of loss or theft, can be done in the following ways:

⠀From the BT Pay app:

enter the application and select the desired card; 

tap the " Settings"⚙ button;

a nd go to the "Block card " option where you will be able to block it temporarily or permanently.

⠀Fromthe BT Visual Help:

by calling 0264 308 000;

you access the link received by SMS;

a nd from here you can temporarily or permanently block your cards and request the card to be reissued after the permanent block.

⠀From the BT24 Mobile Banking app:

"Funding" menu , "Cards" submenu 

s elect the desired card; 

then go to the "Change Card Status" section and you will see the options: temporarily blocked, lost or stolen.

⠀From the BT24 Internet Banking platform:

"Cards" menu , "View card" submenu ;

next to the desired card, click in the "Details" on the "Change card status" option ;

a nd set the new status of your card (temporarily or permanently blocked).

⠀Comingto any of our BT units where our colleagues will help you.
