How do I block a card?
Blocking the card, in case of loss or theft, can be done in the following ways:
❶⠀From the BT Pay app:
➭ enter the application and select the desired card;
➭ tap the " Settings"⚙ button;
➭ a nd go to the "Block card " option where you will be able to block it temporarily or permanently.
❷⠀Fromthe BT Visual Help:
➭ by calling 0264 308 000;
➭ you access the link received by SMS;
➭ a nd from here you can temporarily or permanently block your cards and request the card to be reissued after the permanent block.
❸⠀From the BT24 Mobile Banking app:
➭ "Funding" menu , "Cards" submenu
➭ s elect the desired card;
➭ then go to the "Change Card Status" section and you will see the options: temporarily blocked, lost or stolen.
❹⠀From the BT24 Internet Banking platform:
➭ "Cards" menu , "View card" submenu ;
➭ next to the desired card, click in the "Details" on the "Change card status" option ;
➭ a nd set the new status of your card (temporarily or permanently blocked).
