What happens if I want to change the original spending plan for Start-Up Nation?

The approved expenditure plan cannot be modified (no expense categories may be added or removed). However, changes to the technical specifications of equipment or machinery are permitted only if:

• the new equipment is more efficient,
• the same name as in the approved budget is retained,
• At a minimum, the operations and functions of the original equipment are maintained.

In short, you can upgrade, but you cannot change the type of investment committed to under the project.
