What does "authorised person" mean?

In short, the person you trust to handle your money. 😇

However, to clarify the term, it is good to know that when you want to appoint someone as your proxy, you need to think of a natural person of legal age whom you appoint to carry out transactions on your behalf.

All you have to do for this, is to:

⠀you're in one of our units

⠀and sign a power of attorney form on the account.

From that moment on, the authorised person will have access to the accounts and available amounts, and will also be able to carry out various operations on account. 😃

⠀If the person you wish to appoint as your authorised representative has a current account with BT, the account holder must present a copy of the identity document of the person you wish to appoint as your authorised representative.
