What do I do if I've lost my phone with Google Pay?

To use Google Pay, you need to authorise each transaction via Face ID, Touch ID or password.

This functionality prevents people other than the user from using Google Pay. 👍

If an Android device with 💳 BT cards set up in Google Pay is lost/stolen, you can lock it and delete the data from the device. 🔒 You need to sign in to your Google account and use the "Find My Device" feature to lock the lost device and/or delete the device data.

The card(s) will be suspended or deleted from Google Pay, even if the device is offline or not connected to a mobile network or Wi-Fi network.

You can also call your card-issuing bank if your device is lost/stolen to suspend or delete cards from Google Pay. 🙂
