What is GDPR?
The term GDPR is actually short for "General Data Protection Regulation" or in other words: General Data Protection Regulation. 🤓
The GDPR contains a set of rules that gives European citizens more control over what data can be used to identify a person and also clearly regulates how personal data is processed.
According to the law, GDPR is Regulation No 679 of 27 April 2016 and concerns the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, namely the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
The GDRP was published in the Official Journal of the European Union L119 / 4 May 2016, entered into force on 25 May 2016 and is applicable from 25 May 2018 throughout the European Union.
