What is a "credit card"?
Your credit card provides a credit to your current account. Sometimes the money isn't enough for something unexpected or something you need to buy for one reason or another. And that's when you get this credit card. 🛒
A credit card is issued with an amount of money (a credit limit) from which you can use all or part of the credit provided by the bank. Credit cards are mainly used for payments or cash withdrawals. When you make a payment with a credit card, you can benefit from installments, i.e. repayment of the credit card credit in installments.
A credit card is a payment instrument, also called a shopping card, which gives you access to a line of credit offered by your bank. 💳
You get many credit card advantages such as the possibility of interest-free instalments on partner shops in the STAR programme.
Basically, for every payment you make with a STAR BT card at home or abroad, you earn STAR points* offered by the bank and/or merchant.
*1 STAR Point means 1 Leu.
For every payment you don't make in instalments, with a card Flying Blue card (a credit card) at home or abroad, you earn miles.
