What is "unit-linked investment life insurance"?

It's the long-term, worry-free financial plan. 😉

Basically, you enjoy the protection of a life insurance combined with an investment component.

Unit-linked insurance is similar to endowment insurance, but more complex. It still has a death protection component, but instead of a savings component there is an investment component. This allows the purchase of account or investment units from the insurer's programmes whose total price shows the value of the account. The gain for the client is measured in the selling price of these units, which shows the performance of the investment programme at a given point in time.
