What fees apply to foreign currency transactions (abroad)?

A currency conversion fee applies to transactions conducted in currencies other than the Romanian leu. 

The exchange rate used is that of the payment network (Visa/Mastercard) on the date of the transaction, plus the BT fee specified in the fees and charges brochure for the Star card you are using to pay. 

You can check the rates anytime on the BT website.
