What documents do I need to open an account for a company?

If you want to open a current account for your companyjust come in any BT unit with the following documents:

The company's articles of association;

Electronic extract from the ONRC or the ORC ' s certificate of registration or other register issued no later than 30 days before the documents for opening the account are submitted to the Bank; these must include all the identification data of the company for which the account is to be opened: legal representatives, shareholders, registered office, points of business, information on the share capital, the method of distribution of shares/shares, the form of organisation of the company, etc.
At if the company is registered with the ONRC no later than 30 days before the documents are submitted to the Bank, the Customer may submit to the Bank the extract type: Specific information from the Commercial Register which is issued by the Commercial Register either upon registration or upon amendment of the memorandum of association. Otherwise, a certificate of registration must be presented by the Client or obtained by the Bank against a fee. 

⠀ The decision of the authorised body concerning the personnel authorised to dispose of the account, if not resulting from the company's articles of association; 

⠀ Identity documents of persons entitled to representation, including beneficial owners;

⠀Any other documents deemed necessary in the process of identifying the client and establishing tax liabilities


* If you have a statement issued more than 30 days ago, you can get an updated one from the BT unit for a fee of 35 lei.


We will analyse as soon as possible all the documents you bring and, if necessary, we may also ask you for other documents in order to identify the client and establish the tax responsibilities. 🙂
