What are the steps I need to follow to send money via Western Union from the ATM?

First of all, you must have a card in RON or EUR, for individuals, issued by usand a Gold Card issued by Western Union, after which you need to go through the following steps:

⠀Enter your bank card into the ATM and type in the 9-digit number* for your Western Union Gold Card;

⠀Select the beneficiary of the transfer, the amount and the currency in which you want the money to arrive;

⠀Confirm the terms and conditions under which the transfer is made. 


* This unique 9-digit identifier holds the sender's details and a list of recipients with the country and currency used.


⠀It's good to know that: 

⠀maximum amount sent from ATM can be USD 3,000 or RON/EUR equivalent; 

⠀once the transaction is completed, your account is debited with the amount sent plus commission. Transaction fees and other transaction details are displayed transparently on the ATM screen and printed on the receipt. This is precisely why printing the receipt is mandatory at the ATM;

⠀if the ATM runs out of paper, the transaction will not be processed and you will receive an information message on the screen.
