What is the maximum amount that can be withdrawn per day from BT ATMs and how much can be withdrawn per transaction?

If you use a card Visa Classic or MasterCard Mondocard, the maximum withdrawal limit is RON 5,000/day, with the possibility of increasing to RON 9,000/day. 😃


You can change the trading limit very easily:

⠀By application BT Pay

o pen the application and select the card you want to change;

click on the "Settings" button (it's in the top-right corner ⚙) and go to the "Card transaction limits" option ;

here you select the limit, change it and confirm.

⠀Din BT Visual Help

call the number 0264 308 000 and click on the link received by SMS;

s elect the "Change card limits" option from the main menu and choose the desired card.

⠀Through the app BT24 Mobile Banking

log in to the app with your details and go to the "Finance" menu ;

in the "Cards" submenu you will have to select the card for which you want to make the change; 

then, you will have the option "View and change limits". You can select your current card limits and change them.

⠀With the help of the app BT24 Internet Banking

log in to the app with your details and go to the "Cards" menu ;

in the "View card" submenu you will need to go to the right of the card for which you want to make the change;

then click on the first option (entitled "View & edit limit") in the "Details" column. With the option in the "Details" column you can change the limits of your card.

⠀In any of BT units.


⠀New limits set in applications are valid for 90 days. After this period, the limits will revert to their original values and can be set again.


Good to know:

If you made POS payments that day, you can only withdraw the difference up to RON 9,000 from the ATM 🤑

We recommend that you withdraw around RON 3,000 in a single transaction.

It is important to know that you cannot withdraw foreign currency (euros, dollars, etc.) from ATMs available in the country. This is only possible at BT branches where we are waiting for you! 🤗
