As usual, this differs depending on you and specifically:

❶⠀Ifyou took out an insurance policy before 2019: 

➤⠀the sum insured is the maximum amount indemnified by the insurer in the event of damage;

➤⠀iar its value is equal to 20% of the value of the creditat the time it is granted;

❷⠀Ifyou would like to take out an insurance policy now, we have available Metropolitan Life product where:

➤⠀the sum insured is the maximum amount indemnified by the insurer in the event of damage;

➤⠀even at the time the insurance policy is taken out is equal to the credit balance.

In this case, the credit can be outstanding or new credit, but not more than EUR 1,000,000.
