If the money is transferred from a BT account, it's in instantly, even if it's deposited over the counter or at a BT ATM. It also goes in instantly if the amount is up to €1,000 and comes from a bank in the group of banks that allow such fast transfers.

If the amount is transferred from a SEPA bank account, the maximum processing time is 2 working days. If the transfer comes from a bank outside the SEPA area (SWIFT area), it can take between 3 and 5 working days.

It is important to note that the processing times for foreign exchange receipts are Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:30.
